As one of the most established singers and actresses in Hollywood, anyone would storm Ariana Grande with luxurious gifts and favours. One of which was during her 2018 engagement with Pete Davidson.

Their fast-forward romance has given us a whiplash after Grande publicly debuted her massive sparkler while performing at iHeartRadio’s Wango Tango event in June 2018 and called off their engagement in October of the same year.

The 3.03-carat pear-shaped diamond ring was crafted by Manhattan-based jeweller Greg Yuna. Davidson commissioned Yuna for the $93,000 VVS clarity diamond set in platinum which took 2 weeks in the making.

Nothing but the best for Emily!

Emily In Paris star Lily Collins said ‘yes’ to partner Charlie McDowell back in 2020 with a breathtaking ultra-rare coloured stone. Collins and McDowell took the happy news to Instagram with a classic ring selfie. They gave fans a closer look at the beautiful sparkler made by celebrity-loved jeweller Irene Neuwirth.

The ring’s one-of-a-kind morganite centre stone was estimated to be between 2 to 3 carats, set in a yellow gold textured bezel setting.  It displays an exceptionally rare light pink coloured stone and is believed to be worth up to $100,000.

Due to its soft pink hue, morganite is often associated with sweetness, love and romance and is said to bring promise, compassion and assurance to anyone who is in love or in a relationship.

If you like the Irene Neuwirth rock like Collins, a similar pink tourmaline style will set you back around $4,000.

Miranda Kerr posted the first ever photo of her engagement ring from Snapchat CEO Evan Spiegel on June 20th, 2016.

After a whirlwind six months of dating, the highest paid CEO in America popped the question to the first Australian Victoria’s Secret Angel with an approximately $55,000 three-stone engagement ring (mere pocket change for a billionaire).

The 2.5-carat centre stone features a classic round brilliant, a shape that is by far the most traditional way to go and is considered the sparkliest. Meanwhile, the tapered baguette side stones have a total diamond weight of around 0.22.

All set in a platinum band, the three-stone engagement ring looks innately elegant, understated and luckily, easy to replicate.

Set your facial expression into ‘stunned’ as we talk about Hollywood actress’ Sofia Vergara’s engagement ring with husband Joe Manganiello.

Recalling the 2014 proposal, Vergara said: “With me, it’s all about the bling-bling, so he knew what I needed.”

Estimated to be $500,000 in price, Vergara’s 7-carat brilliant cushion-cut diamond is surrounded by a diamond pavé halo, all set in a platinum band with more diamonds. Not surprisingly, the massive centre stone dazzles from afar and from close up.

Pavé settings add to the overall brilliance and beauty of the ring while accentuating the centre stone and drawing extra attention to it.

While Lady Gaga’s romance with Taylor Kinney ended in 2016, their engagement ring stayed relevant through the years.

Kinney proposed with a diamond heart engagement ring to the singer after 4 years of dating. The bold sense of style of the sparkler was effortlessly pulled off by the celebrity.

The ring features a 6-ct heart-shaped white diamond, set in a platinum band with a diamond pavé which was estimated to cost around $170,000. The diamond ring also highlights the phrase “T<3S” on the back of the band, which means “Taylor loves Stephanie,” Gaga’s real name.

If you love the idea of a heart-shaped diamond engagement ring, but would like something more simplistic and less flashy, you can always opt for a heart-shaped diamond ring with a solitaire setting.

Interestingly, Machine Gun Kelly revealed that Megan Fox’s engagement ring was designed to hurt if she takes it off as the bands are actually thorns.

The actress and rapper announced their engagement in January 2022 and since then became an even bigger power-couple internet sensation.

The unique engagement ring was designed by Machine Gun Kelly and jeweller Stephen Webster. Diamond experts estimate it could be worth up to $500,000.

“It’s a thoroughbred Colombian emerald, with no treatment. It was just carved into the teardrop, straight out of the mine. And the diamond was directly from jeweller Stephen Webster,” Kelly said.

According to Webster in an Instagram post, the ring was created especially to make true connections to both Fox and Kelly, featuring their birthstones, emerald and diamond. The two stones are crafted into teardrop shapes, held together by a magnet to form an obscure heart.

Jennifer Lopez’s 8.5ct natural green diamond

Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck ruled Hollywood as a couple in the 2000s but broke off their first engagement in 2004.  In 2021, the celebrity pair found their way back to each other and proved that love is sweeter the second time around.

Nearly 18 years after their first engagement, Affleck once again proposed to JLo but this time, older, wiser and with even more bling to the ring.

The three-stone engagement ring features an 8.5ct natural green diamond centre stone flanked by a pair of trapezoid-shaped diamonds. The actress explained in a newsletter she has always considered green to be her lucky colour, thus, the sentimental value behind the centre stone.

While the chances of getting an identical ring to JLo’s aren’t likely, getting inspiration and working with the right jeweller is a surefire way to nail a sparkler as stunning as hers.

These celebrity engagements prove that relationships can come and go but diamonds are forever.
